I joined Talk Ford today so I can pop this question to ya. Blanked off my EGR Valve after de-coking it (seriously clogged up!!) I was getting the EML coming on and it kept going into limp mode. Its much much better but has gone into limp mode a couple of times with the EML/coil symbol coming on. If it is smoking I suggest that its probably the injectors leaking. This does not automatically indicate a problem.
